Attending Charter was the best decision I ever made.  Charter provided me with an education that was second to none and prepared me to succeed in college and now in law school.  My teachers pushed me to challenge myself and get the most out of my education.  Beyond academics, some of my fondest memories are because of Charter, like playing on the soccer and golf teams and being a member of Senior Council.  The friends I met at Charter are still my best friends to this day.  I plan on continuing to support Charter because I want students in Delaware to have the opportunity to have the same experience that I did.

The education I received at the Charter School of Wilmington sparked my interest in higher learning and knowledge. Charter allowed me to develop my curiosity and critical thinking skills in a setting where this mindset is celebrated and fostered. After graduating from Charter, I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Neuroscience. CSW prepared me for my first semester at Penn, giving me confidence in my foundational academic skills – from writing research papers to studying for cumulative finals. Since then, I have received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience and am working as a Pediatric Neuropsychologist at a children’s hospital and teaching a neuroanatomy course at a local university. Your donation to CSW would allow for continued quality educational programming and extracurricular opportunities. I wholeheartedly loved my time at CSW, from the rigorous academics to the social bonds created during our school spirit activities.
