The Charter School of Wilmington’s Team A brought home 8th place in the 2015 NCF-Envirothon, a week-long North American natural resource education competition and program of the National Conservation Foundation (NCF). Fifty two teams competed at this year’s event and the top teams were announced on Saturday, August 1, during the award ceremonies at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. Over four thousand highs schools were involved in the 2015 program across North America.
“The National Conservation Foundation congratulates not only the winning team, but all the students who participated in this year’s competition,” said Steve Robinson, Chair of the NCF Board of Trustees, “We are so proud of all of the students’ efforts and commitment to helping preserve our natural resources.”

CSW Teams Capture Top Honors at Delaware Envirothon

Congratulations to CSW’s Envirothon Team A and Team C for capturing 1st and 2nd place in the State Envirothon Competition on May 1. Team A now moves on to the National Envirothon Competition in Missouri which runs from July 27 to August 2.
This victory marked CSW’s 16th win in the event’s 20-year history, including an unbroken winning streak since 2002.
